Mary Magdalene would have been the companion of Jesus and the couple would have had children. This is a very popular theory since the publication of The Da Vinci Code in 2003. Some even go so far as to say that their supposed descendants would have mingled with the Merovingians and that the lineage would have survived to us.
Evidence would be found at Rosslyn Chapel, a 15th century church located about 11 km south of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Rosslyn Chapel
We read on a website :
“The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, a book published in 1982, contained one of the most influential theories, claiming that the Holy Grail was the proof of Christ’s marriage to Mary Magdalene and their subsequent children, buried beneath Rosslyn Chapel in 1307. This was the theme taken up by Dan Brown in 2003[1]”.
During the 17th and 18th centuries, the Chapel remained abandoned. Rosslyn Archives indicate that the current windows were installed between 1867 and 1887. One of the windows is presented to visitors by some guides as evidence of the alleged sexual union between Jesus and Mary Magdalene and their alleged descendants. Jesus is surrounded by a few people and holds a small child in his arms. Two women are kneeling before him. One of them, with red hair, hands him another child while a third child, taller, stands on the left side.
Some people, who are just waiting to believe, are delighted by these explanations: the red-haired woman is none other than Mary Magdalene and the three children are those of the divine couple. But according to the “official” brochures available, the explanation is actually much simpler. This stained glass clearly illustrates the evangelical episode of “Christ blessing little children”, which confirms the gesture of the right hand sketched by Christ. This evangelical scene is recorded in Matthew 19:13-15; Mark 10:13-16 and Luke 18:15-17:
“And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, “Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein”. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.” (Mark 10:13-16)

The presence of women and children in this scene is therefore not abnormal: it is the mothers of these children presented to Jesus to bless them. It should be borne in mind that, for the most part, the images found in churches are usually only representations of evangelical, biblical or apocryphal scenes.
